Classic Dessert Plate

I love the color and size of this plate! The durability can't be beat and the look is like no other! My favorite plates by far!

I have a full set for 4 of dinner plates and salad plates in this pattern. I decide to add 2 in this small size plate and I'm very pleased. It is a great option for a little item.

Purchased these dishes for my niece for her wedding shower. She loves them and they are perfect in her kitchen.

Over 30 years ago, my young self saw a set of Bennington dishes in a pottery shop in a neighboring town. It was instant love. The shape, the blue agate the solidness spoke to my heart. On a very meagre budget, I began collecting, one piece at a time, until I could host a table of 12. I still love it. The addition of the dessert plates adds more love. I was a Bennington customer for life from the very first glance. Looking at a table set with settings of blue agate is sheer joy. But maybe another glaze color to weave in here and there? I'm definitely not done with my Bennington crush!

I've been collecting the original glaze for years and inherited a few pieces from my mother. Now I'm buying place settings for my granddaughter as a wedding gift. We all live Bennington, and my niece has decided she loves it, so I know exactly what to give her for special occasions.

I bought the plates for my daughter in law for Christmas to finish up her sets she has. I know she really likes them.

I have had my bennington pottery for 40yrs. As my family has grown I needed to add more plates. These are not as sturdy and thick as the originals. I'm not as happy with them as I don't see them holding up for 40yrs.
