Classic Lunch Plate

My husband and I use the lunch plates much more than the dinner plates. I started collecting Bennington Blue Agate in the 1990s when we came across Bennington Potters mill quite by accident while on vacation. I have quite a large collection now, but recently added a few more luncheon plates. I'm so glad I can continue to add or replace pieces in my pattern.

I've owned Bennington for 40+ years and I continue to enjoy it. It rarely breaks and works well in my dishwasher. While I have both luncheon and dinner plates I use the luncheon plates for dinner regularly. Harvest Gold a favorite

Absolutely love all their products but this size is my new "diet" plate. By cutting back, it helped me to loose 40 pounds

I recently ordered a dessert plate and 2 luncheon plates in Elements Blue. The package only contained one luncheon plate. I contacted Bennington Potters and they immediately sent me the missing plate. Very quick, no fuss. Thank you! I also just love thes eplates. They are the perfect size for me and I never tire of the classic shape and the blue glaze. I can't wait for the dinner plates to be available again, I feel more purchases coming on!

We originally purchased these places 35 years ago! They are classic and work well for most occasions. However, over the years we were not as careful as we should be! We are now replacing plates we chipped or cracked. The wonderful aspect of these plates is that they are still available! We highly recommend Bennington Pottery.

I love these plates. I have had a set of them for over 30 years, and am just now replace 6 of the lunch plates! They are very chip resistant AND are just the perfect size for lunch plates!! I looked around and these are still the best, 3 decades later!! Hooray!

My brother went to school with in Vermont, and bought plates for my Mom as a gift. Many years later when Mom moved in with us, there were only two left. The size is perfect for a small meal, and they're beautiful, so I ordered 4 more so we'd have a set. It was so nice to have a classic still available! And when my brother comes to visit (40 years after he bought the gift), we can remind him of his gift, and reunite as a family.

Bennington White-on-White lunch plate can be used for anything. I love the look because even with a simple sandwich placed on it, it creates informal elegance.

Bought 8 lunch plates to supplement other Bennington pottery we already own (Large plates, pasta bowls). Bennington has changed the shipping method from a previous purchase and all products arrived in perfect shape. The wife and I like the green on black finish and will use them as everyday dishes.

I like the lunch plate. I got it in the morning glory color (light blue and white). I will be getting more in the future. there are other items that I want to start purchasing from Bennington potters next month.

I bought 1 just to see what it was like. I love it. I've ordered 3 more. I plan to purchase more in future. Being older, we don't need to eat off of large plates because we tend to put less food on our plates.

Love my Bennington. Sets a beautiful table and cleanup is so easy. Have collected it for years. Have the dark blue and use the mustard color dinner plates for chargers on the dark blue lunch plates.

I've been gradually replacing worn out pieces of my everyday dishes that were purchased in 1995 at Crate & Barrel. I just can't part with these dishes and keep coming back for more. I've moved my dishes about 10 times over the years. Some of my older piece need a good scrubbing with Bar Keepers Friend at times.

I love the white-on-white pattern and bought a stack of these lunch plates as a gift for myself on my birthday. When they arrived I was even more pleased with them than I expected. The rim has enough lip so a pile of salad won't slide off. The plates feel sturdy enough to use every day and toss in the dishwasher, yet they also have a light elegance to them. Everyone in the household loves them. Next gift will be the dinner plates - looking forward to Mother's Day!

Building my BP collection and purchased lunch plates in the Morning Glory Blue glaze to go with White on White dinner plates. They are so dreamy and such a wonderful size. Really durable pottery in gorgeous glazes.

These lunch plates are perfect for the side of bread and butter or a small meal. We almost went with the dessert plates, but decided those would probably be too small. If you are looking for a set of dinnerware, I highly recommend pairing the lunch plates and dinner plates. Couldn't be happier!

Love the size of this plate

After 35 years of use, I cracked one of the Classic Lunch Plates that had been a part of my original full set of Blue Agate Bennington. I hoped that the new piece would match my set and it does...perfectly! My pottery is used daily and has survived several moves, 2 marriages, various children and grandchildren and my dishwasher. It still looks and performs as beautifully as the first time I used it. I have actually indoctrinated my two best friends into my love of Bennington Pottery and they are now avid collectors and users of the your Blue Agate pottery! We all love it and would love to see some new pieces added. I would personally love to see a 2-3 quart covered casserole dish... hint :)

I have been buying your Blue Agate dinnerware for over 30 years. It's heavy and sturdy but occasionally a piece breaks or chips and I am so happy that it can be reordered open stock. Please keep making your lovely pottery; it will stay in my family for many years to come.

So happy years ago my daughter introduced me to your beautiful pottery- I would visit your store each time we would travel from Iowa to her home in Peterborough NH and purchase gifts for others- then one day I said "why am I not purchasing for myself"-so I've been purchasing and adding to my collection of White on White (and other items) and absolutely love-I'm sad not being able to visit your store in person but am happy I can still order online

I use this size all the time and it is a great diet plate too. You just cannot beat the quality

While cleaning up after a meal, we accidentally broke a Blue Morning Glory luncheon plate we had bought as our basic household dinnerware some 30 years ago. However, we were able to order a new one (actually two!) om ;line so effortlessly we were amazed. They arrived in good shape quicker than we expected. We are VERY pleased with Bennington Potters, needless to say.

Just love the feeling and look of this sweet plate. We purchased these with the idea they would be just the right size for a sandwich...which they certainly are that and more! They are perfect as a salad plate as well as for any smaller sized meal. In fact we are now wondering what we did without these little gems.

I love these plates. I love Bennington Pottery. I am trying to watch my portion size so these are perfect. They are just the right size. Even though I have the dinner plates I am using these alot.
